By the 1950s it was fashion that women focused on the most. Women had been deprived in World War Two, mainly relying on home made bras, but they also saw the Hollywood stars during the war that still sported glamorous brands. These brands spread out to the general populace throughout the years following the war and well into the 1950’s.
The conical bra became one of the most noted styles as it supported those girls who longed to emulate the curves of film stars of that decade.
